How to find us

The village of Ambleside is situated in the heart of the English Lake District on the edge of Lake Windermere between Windermere and Grasmere and, because of its location is easily accessible from the M6 Motorway.

Travelling from the South

Leave the M6 Motorway at Junction 36 (signposted A590 South Lakes) and follow the A591 through Windermere towards Ambleside. As you enter Ambleside go straight through the traffic lights, do not take the signposted left fork. Woodside Cottage at The Fisherbeck is 300 yards on the right.

 

Travelling from the North

Follow the A591 through Ambleside village towards Windermere and Woodside Cottage at The Fisherbeck is on the left 200 yards passed the BP petrol station.
